| Oh, and did you mention that... he's Robin Hood???? Okay, as far as character goes, I think it's safe to say that Robin takes the prize (Marien?), but they're both womanizers anyway, as the first episode showed (for Robin at least). But are we talking about character here? No, we're being much more shallow! Guy has the best nose ever. Just look at it. Take it in. It's.... perfect. Actually, all his facial features are good, and he's tall, and un-shrimpy without being obviously bulky. Also: great voice, and he's got an accent too. Robin is muscularly challenged, his voice is wimpy, his nose is mediocre and, like I said, lightbult head alert!!! Okay, Guy's a little greasy and evil and wears too much leather. But.... | |

True, but if we were going on appearance alone....I don't know...I'd need like a hybrid of Robin and Alan. Cuz Alan has awesome hair, he just has a seriously weird nose, and Robin doesn't have much of a nose, so together... - Quote :

Actually, all his facial features are good, and he's tall, and un-shrimpy without being obviously bulky. Also: great voice, and he's got an accent too. The voice is good, the accent is good, but he says everything with that growl that borders a prolonged belch. "Mbbmarian.." I don't really care for his build. It's not ugly, obviously, but it does nothing for me, aesthetically. Yawn. - Quote :
- Robin is muscularly challenged,
Ehh....I'm going to go with Jessica and say "wiry." He should keep his shirt on. But, again, I'm still going on that commercial... - Quote :
- his voice is wimpy,
They ALL have great accents! His voice is fine. - Quote :
- his nose is mediocre and, like I said, lightbult head alert!!!
I agree with the nose thing, but I've never been a person to preach about noses, unlike you. He has low-set features. Nothing weird. I would never put a picture of Robin Hood on my wall. I would not put a picture of ANYONE in my room, unless it was on my computer screen, which is like my equivilent of Caitlin's cell phone gallary. But Robin is infinitiely superior to Guy, in this show, in appearance, in character, in dialogue, etc. - Quote :
- Okay, Guy's a little greasy and evil and wears too much leather. But....
A LITTLE greasy?? The man is one big reflection! The hair, the clothes...he might as well be clad in CHROME!

| Hm, interesting defense there, Hannah. The voice argument is pathetic. Thornton, er, sorry, Guy has a great voice and there's no arguing against it. Prolonged belch? Robin has a goody-good voice, which kind of fits his character I suppose. (And I dont have any pictures on my walls either, by the way.) The grease and grime add to his character. And if anyone can pull it off, he can. (Remember, Hannah? Rain, dirt, blood....? ) | |

(The rain, dirt, blood thing, I mean) But grease is different. If it's not grease like black machinery grease, and instead it's like shower-phobia grease... ick. Not cool.

| Hey, how often do you think people back then got to shower? I don't think personal hygiene is his first priority. He has other things on his mind. Like how to smash a certiain lightbulb's head. | |

| The real reason Robin gets away is that he can smell Guy coming. | |

| I suppose Robin's dainty little feet are quick and agile. But he probably doesn't have to run far. He can just hide his tiny self in the nearest bird's nest or anthill. | |

Oh, score one for the Robin club! Uh, yeah, he's greasy. And Robin's accent is fine. And his head is fine. And his figure is fine. He's just fine.....

Look up. (which was HILARIOUS btw). I just can-not respect a guy that I could probably KO in 20 seconds. Bwahahaha! I LOVE the light-bulb defense, and it definitly fits. And has anyone else noticed that his "stubble" kinda, for lack of a better term, drifts down his throat?!! Gu-aaaag me with a spoon. Ew. Puny, whispy, tiny, shrimpey, skinny-mini. Guy? Greasy?.....no...he gets the benefit of the doubt since his hair is black. Black hair always looks greasy. But still.... It's Thornton we're talking about here people. OW! OW!!! Always gotta love him! Part of me is glad that we dropped the Will dis-fest though. I still gotta find some better pics of him.

Well, we were leaving. I didn't have time to retaliate. - Quote :

And Guy's doesn't? I don't remember. Anyway, it's not distracting either way. - Quote :

 But it's NOT Thornton! Thornton would not leave his child in the woods to die!! Thornton would not stab an old man! Thornton would install a big wheel to help the circulation in the mines! He would have started a kitchen to feed the peasants! He would have had Marion following him around in no time! Guy is NOT Thornton!! - Quote :

Hey, as long as I have someone to dis in return I'm okay with it. How else will I get to prove my loyalty to him if not by getting in a few fights over it? Huh? Huh? - Quote :

I KNOW he's not Thornton, I just don't feel like writing "Richard". I detest that name. I know him as Thornton, therefore, I claim him as Thornton. .....booyah! Besides, I attach to the actor, remember? NOT the character. Seriously, he's evil and heartless, and shallow, and mean...... *sigh* :sarcastic: and tall, and magnificent, dashing, manly, nice hands, deep voice...... YOU MAY BE EVIL, BUT I STILL LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

| Caitlin, I cannot believe you put up that pic...... Caitlin> ewww..... But seriously, can we start talking about non-robin hood related things, please! Because neither side will be backing down, so what does it matter.? Or accomplish? Nothing!! I hereby return this thread to pretty girly things, not annoying smack-talk! K, gals? | |

| Well....*ahem*...I believe YOU were the one that brought it up! I think this was more of an actor/physical feature debate than about the actual show...so it is actually pretty girly.
The Richard Armitage picture and the drooling certainly reeks of girl talk.
But if you'd like to change the subject, it's fine with me. What shall we talk about?

| I understand that Hannah, it is kinda girly, and I may have brought it up (I really don't want to go back 100 pages and find out ) , I just think it's getting old...... Let's talk about life or marriage or kids or something deep like that..... I'll see if me and Cait can work on some questions..... | |

| As Josh would say, *ahem* "Caitlin and I" The whole point of having different sides ,when it comes to actors, is that no one ever gives in. It's fun, you keep digging up proof that your man is superior, and the opposing team's man is a shrimp. It's sad that I have to explain this to you.... And excuse me, but this is the "girl-talk" thread. And being so, we are allowed to discuss any and all things girly without too much critacism from the men on this forum. Therefore, you can't just declare it a "no smack-talk zone" it defies the very nature of the thread.......but out of curtisy, we will try to "ration" the Robin Hood chit-a-chat. Happy? | |

| Caitlin, don't be stupid. You don't have to "explain it to me", and you know that. I just get sick of coming on here every time and not being able to talk about a serious girl topic because you guys (and I mean you mostly) fill it up with "smack talk".
I would just like to talk about things that mean something in real life, not your little actor rants.

Well, if you're going to make it "serious",Then stop being such a JERK. I don't appreciate it. You started it all anyway with your Robin pictures, so don't EVEN go pointing a finger at me! - Quote :

What on earth is this stupid elephant? Jess, I am surprised you found a spot for this elephant in your post. Jon, you think you could replace the blue dancing elephant with the poking one or something. Anything! Now I get a little say on this thread. (seeing as you completely destroyed the Men Talk with the hottie advertisement.) Jessica, seeing as this is the Girl Talk thread, any girl can talk about any topic. If you want to talk about "deep" stuff, make a brand new "deep" thread. Thats all I have to say about that.

Yeah! Heer heer! Bravo Josh! That was the point I was trying to make before Jessica decided to be rude. By the way, knock off the direct insults Jess. Just because you can get away with saying that junk in front of me, doesn't mean you have any right to plaster it all over the internet. And I second the elephant motion. It needs to die.
