Hannah, the dude at the booth? Ick, I thought you were over that little twirp. Seriously, I could have sneezed at him and he would have gone flying into that cheep cardboard wall behind him.
And I am going to KILL you avatar. I think you are setting out to put up my least favourite guys, males, boys, whatever...the title "men" is reserved for my type of guys. They're easy to spot, they're the ones that pick Peter Parker up by the scruff of his neck and dump his pale, short little body in a dumpster as they pass him on the street.
Seriously, they could.....in fact....maybe I could.
Sorry, when I'm all alone on here I get kinda weird. Unless your type has superpowers or four mechanical arms welded onto his body, I highly doubt they will be throwing Peter Parker anywhere.

- Caitlin, why on earth would you like to have your boyfriend, or husband, or whatever going around beating the heck out of smaller people, just because there smaller? (if i were a girl ) I sure wouldn't want some big, slow talking jerk.
So who is this booth guy you two are talking about? This is a good point. I think she was more or less making a comparison to physical stature. The booth guy is a long story and I don't know if you guys will think it is pathetic, but... Okay, since Caitlin and Grace and I have such completely opposite tastes in physical appearance, we have a hard time comprehending the appeal of our various tendres. During one of the long youth group van rides, where the three of us were in the back and everyone else was talking about cars, we decided to find people during the trip that fit our ideals. I don't think Grace found anyone, and Caitlin probably doesn't want me to talk about her, but anyway, I pointed out this guy working the Compassion booth. That's about it.

I don't know. Considering that I am a complete weakling myself, I would not want to marry someone who was my physical equivalent. Between the mean guy and the picked-on guy, I would pick neither. I would pick the guy that, when threatened by Caitlin's manly man, would give him a cold reptilian stare, say something threatening, and leave while the manly man considered all the big words.

| Thats what i mean, a guy that is understatedly strong. Using more brains than large biceps. Okay now back to being my own gender. | |

| Alright everyone, I missed out on a LOT so here's my long overdue say on all this. (And to Jon and Josh, this IS the girl-talk thread, so no making comments about me talking too long about my "ideal") - debauchedsloth wrote:

I would pick the guy that, when threatened by Caitlin's manly man, would give him a cold reptilian stare, say something threatening, and leave while the manly man considered all the big words. Reptilian Hannah? Oh ba-ro-ther! Who could that description possibly represent? SO sad. Okay, when did I ever refer to "my guy" as dim-witted and mean? If I wanted him to throw Peter Parker in the trash can that just makes ME mean, and I don't feel bad. I wasn't exactly serious either, that was an exadgerated version of me and Hannah's ideals confronting eachother. See, if she's the one trying to needle me she'll most likely exadgerate the intelligent wit of her guy up againts my "duh" kinda guy. This is just how Hannah and I joke around with eachother guys, you really need to start catching that. Since we don't understand eachother's ideals, (HA! Probably never will) we just harrass eachother about their short-comings. *snort* And I will never marry some stupid, muscle-bound, ox-brain. I respect intelligence in a guy, I just hate the stereotype that people, (Hannah) think that you can't look manly, and still be smart. A guy doesn't have to look like a total nerd to be intelligent. Seriously, could you people really picture me being shallow enough to be content with a complete dim-wit so long as he could bench-press my body weight? Bleugh, I am at my sarcastic best when dumb-jocks are around. And I don't want some WWF wrestler/bow-flex dude either. If he's too toned then He'd make me look bad. I just want a good, solid, stable man who can take care of me and make me feel femanine, (hence all the swooning over height, muscle, deep voice...) I'm not the world's most delicate lady, and smaller guys only remind me of that fact. That's why I usually despise them. Okay, explanantion over. I almost erased this post 3 times so be nice! I just wanted people to know where I stood on all this....I was starting to sound like this completely shallow airhead. Long enough for you Hannah?

Okay, Caitlin is right in that you guys really shouldn't take any of this stuff too seriously. We do this all the time. And Caitlin, you know I don't really think you'd marry some stupid guy. I know that as much as you know I wouldn't marry some reedy stuttering lightweight. I'm just joking the same way you do. - Quote :

Stop! Stop! Hold it! Misinterpretation alert! Caitlin, you are confusing my two seperate theories. My actual theory is that you cannot be uber-manly and still be devoid of ego. That is why I don't like "manly men," not because I think they're not intelligent. It's because I can't comprehend them not having been ruined by tons of swooning girls. - Quote :

I agree, and that is the type of person I WANT you to like, date, marry, whatever. The reason I make fun of these people you like is that I, personally, don't find them attractive, and I am teasing. Most people like to be teased about their ideals; heck, I do, but I never am. You know I'm not serious. - Quote :

Josh, you're rude and inconciderate. Well Hannah, thank you for giving a serious response to my personal rambling. I'm glad I wrote that mostly for your benefit, and so that it would be on record. Cause I certainly got the type of response I expected from from the guys.....lots of dead air. I'll put my say in on your "sleeves" rant Hannah a little later, I gotta go to work now.

First of all if I,am going to be criticized at least spell it right, (No offense, i spell things wrong all the time too.) inconsiderate is the right spelling. Caitlin, I,am sorry for all the negative things I've said.

Caitlin, I,am sorry for all the negative things I've said. You're right, you can't really be the one to correct my spelling Josh. But thank you for doing so anyway. And as far as negative things you've said, it's more what you haven't said really. You guys never respond intelligently to my posts, you can with Hannah's, but with me it's kinda the, "little brother and his buddy" response. Then the sarcasm just flows. And you guys wonder why I get so mad on here sometimes. So yeah, in an attempt to seem less ditzy I write out my exact "realistic" preferences for a guy....and what do I get? More comments and snide remarks about me being shallow. (Jerks.) I am NOT shallow, (and it makes me mad if people act like I am) if I was I wouldn't have held out this long for the "right" kind of man. All the talk about huge "beef-cake" type guys is just for fun. As in not realistic. In real life I would never want someone that perfect.

| Sooooo, this is all very meaningful and touching, but to get the thread back on topic (as much as it ever is..)
What is your opinion on eyelashes? As a feature, I mean. Cuz I just saw this guy with really, really light eyelashes, and I'm trying to decide.
Also, what is the best chick flick of all time? (If anyone is going to put up pictures, please do not make them ENORMOUS..)

| Well in my "NOT PROFESSIONAL" opinion, I like the good things in The Holiday, and i like Hitch. I haven't seen Pride and Prejudice and would like to since other people have and said it was good, and i would like to see Phantom of the Opera just because, dont ask.
Gosh, i seen a lot, yet i cant think of one right now.
So I,ll be back to this topic.

| So this "North and South" movie is a long on right?
I guess i would watch it if it were on TV one day, and there was no one home to say, "Oh GREAT, Josh what are you watching. This is DUMB, what else is on." Then i would watch it.Or any other opportunity.
