I don't know how this guys singing is at all but I think he looks just fine...good even.

Yeah.....his singing sucks too.

I would agree that hand thing is pretty cheesy though.

Robin Williams in the Idol gives back thing last night was so funny!!

I thought the whole show was pretty pathetic. We skipped through practically all of it. I was hoping that Chris Daughtry would actually perform, and Miley Cyrus had to sing TWICE.

Idol Gives Back is always so hyped.


And, yes, I agree that David Cook looks just fine. I'm not saying I would buy his CD, because I probably wouldn't, but I like his voice and he is talented and I enjoy watching/listening to him on the show. Come on, Josh, didn't you like when he sang Billie Jean or Hello? You've got to admit those were good...

Didn't you like when Brooke White sang Let it Be? or Every Breath You Take?

I never said I hated Brooke. In fact, I loved when she sang Let It Be. I also liked it when she sang You're So Vain.

But you didn't answer my question.

I can't enjoy a sing performance when I have to look at him! He would be much better on the radio or something where you don't have to see him.

On a different note, that elimination last night was all wrong...

I honestly wish that Brooke White would win. She is only down to earth, normal person. The other girls suck. The rest of the guys should not be considers men. The boy, forgot his name, should take second. David Cook is lost in the nineties, never to be seen again. The rocker/ bad hair cut thing is horrible. Plus the wiener-ish-ness of his face is frightening.

Last year, after sanjya <?? left, the show was so good. It seem like they were all so good and it would be so close. They were all normal people in the top ten-ish.

This years contestants are far from last years.

Well, all of that is just your conceded opinion of "normal".

First of all, the "irish freak" has a pretty good voice. I don't like her but I don't think she deserves to leave yet.

And, Brooke White should not win. The competition is supposed to be about singing and performing, both of which she is not the best. She is fine (although pretty annoying) and all, but she's not great.

I'm not even going to start with the David Cook subject again.

This is becoming the American Idol thread... didn't we already have one of those?

Who would you like to see win it??

I think the top three should be David Cook, David A., and Carly, not because I necessarily like them but because they are the best.

David Cook should win, David A. should take second even though he is annoying (and you think David Cook is "wiener-ish"... ), and Carly should be third.

I just don't like stupid people. David cook looks stupid. Carly has a bunch of tattoos and her husband is way worse. I look way to much at appearance. Sorry.

I look alot into appearance also but I don't judge anyone because they have tattoos.

...in fact I usually like them more if they have alot of tattoos.

But one reason I would most likely be attracted someone more if they had tattoos is the attitude that people with tattoos often have.

I don't like tattoos. I do not find them attractive; plain old skin looks fine without ink on it. Also, unlike Jon, I often don't like the attitudes of people with tattoos. That was a good point though and, of course, not everyone who has tattoos has the same attitude.

I don't think tattoos do anything to enhance appearance. They either make it worse or it's neutral.

However, I'm not going to judge a person on tattoos alone.
American Idol is not about tattoos. If I were watching... a tattoo contest (yeah right), I would put a lot more weight on tattoos.

Blake Lewis was my favorite last year and he had a bunch of tattoos. He would have looked better without them in my opinion, but they didn't distract me from his performance.

I probably am repeating myself a lot; sorry.
