Okay, what did everyone get for Christmas?

Browning t-shirts, a pair of pants, a digital slr book, from Z+B. A Carhartt winter hat, Thats about it. More than i thought i would get. My camera counts too. Oh and fifty from me Gramps, and thirty from my grandma+grandpa, and twenty from my aunt.

I asked for next to nothing for Christmas, so it feels like I got next to everything.

Topping the list of totally-unexpected-but-nonetheless-well-recieved was an iPod nano.

Also got the next three Aubrey-Maturin novels; already halfway through Fortune of War. I've spent the entire day at work wondering how the crew is going to get back to land before they sunburn to death; as soon as I get home I'll finish the chapter.

The family got a widescreen LCD moniter for the computer, too. I also got a few DVDs, like Pirates of the Caribbean, some more books, like Persuasion by Jane Austen, and some soundtracks. And a bathrobe. That's all I can remember.

I got a Lamb of god shirt, a Lamb of god wallet, "Killadelphia" the DVD
by Lamb of god, Call of duty 3 for xbox (A few other games for xbox but
COD3 was the most important), A long-sleeved "3d" camo shirt (pretty
cool), A die-cast 1:18 size Chrysler 300C model courtesy of miniman:D, A few movies on DVD, some pizza goldfish and I think that's it...alot more than I expected.

Silver, and I can't remember how much it holds. We have to exchange it anyway; something's wrong with it.


But I would have bought it just for the packaging. Apple has a fantastic design team.

Yeah, I know. It was very magical opening my nano.

I am further inspired, and I am definitely getting an Apple laptop to take with me to college. Can't wait to see that packaging.
