Jon (or anyone who knows..) do you have to put all your music on the iPods via iTunes? What do you do if you don't have the Internet?

So, once I have downloaded the program I don't have to keep logging in online? For now I just want to take music off my computer.

No, if you have itunes the only reason you would have to go online is to buy music.

Well if you can get me the program, that'd be great, but no hurry..a friend of mine has it and is copying music onto it for me.

Okay, so I tried to install iTunes, but it told me that my version of Quicktime wasn't updated enough, and it wouldn't do it. Any idea how I can get a newer Quicktime?

In the meantime, I'm going to try installing it on the other, slightly newer, computer.

Well, I might be able to copy quicktime onto a disc but first tell me if itunes works on your newer pc.

Okay, the other computer wouldn't accept it at all. It would say "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." or whatever. So how do I get quicktime?

Gah, this is frustrating!! Very Mad

Well, I will see if I can put quicktime on a disc. Does your pc have quicktime at all or is it just not new enough?
