Subject: GUMBALL 3000 RALLY 7/12/2006, 11:59 pm
The Gumball rally is (in my mind) one of the coolest car driving thing in the world. Its a rally, which means that it aint a race, in fact if you try to race you may be thown out. Most of the time its in Europe, the last time it was in America, was 2003. The rally is three-thousand miles, so if in Europe, you'll see a lot a COOL places. At every check point, you say in the best hotels and also party the whole way too, although some of the parties are not good (at least from a Chrisian view point). Every kind of car imaginable has or will be in the rally. everything from the AWSOME Bugatti Veyron to old VW vans and such. Anyway here are some links to Gumball things.

I've heard of this rally before and I think that it would be the most fun I could ever have. But I hear there's a hefty entry fee.

Yeah, just a little one, For a first timer its: 28,000 pounds. and if you want another person in the car, it'll cost 12,000 more. For a person to enter thats done it before, will cost 24,000 pound.
1.00 USD = .51GBP
So the price would'nt be that horrible i guess.

The 2008 Gumball Rally will be starting in the US!! Out in San Fransisco, and ending in Beijing. Thats all I know right now. The last time Gumball was in the the US was in 2003. That was from San Fransisco to Miami. So finally its back here again.

The Gumball 3000 is an annual 3,000 mile international road rally which takes place on public roads, with a different 3,000 mile route around the world each year. Founded in 1999 by Maximillion Cooper, it sees an annual entry of 120 cars, which are mostly exotic and powerful sports cars. However, more unusual entries, such as police cars and campervans, have been seen. The Rally is not a serious race in the traditional sense of Rally races - there are no prizes for being fastest or official timekeeping of any sort.
