The Nativity Story

I would say that the movie was good, but to tell you the truth i did'nt exactly get a good experience in the theater. Between making jokes the whole time and sucking up my friends old gum in his half eaten (drank, sucked) ICEE. But other than that it was good, yeah it was good.

If it would have been an hour shorter I would have enjoyed it much more.

I think they spent too much time on their journey to Bethlehem. Mary and Joseph were good. The wisemen were a bit tedious. Not as tedious as the audience...

Had to get to class. What was I saying? Ah.

LIKED:

1. Everyone LOOKED Jewish--no blondes, no blue-eyes, no beard- trimming. (Could have potentially used some beard-trimming..)

2. MARY AND JOSEPH--Yay! Loved them! So cute!

3. Color scheme-- I said this in the van, but I loved how everything in the movie was gold and green and white until they left for Bethlehem and then everything was in grays and blues. Pretty.

4. Music--I loved how they worked in some Christmas songs, but more Eastern-sounding.

DISLIKED:

1. The angel. Too bland. Too ugly. Too boring.

2. Wisemen were a bit over the top.

3. Pop--I swear, the carbination in my coke was screwed up. Plus between Grace and I it was HUGE and did not taste good.

4. Did I mention the LOUD OBNOXIOUS audience??? Okay, I forgave you all because of the gum thing--that was gross. But there was toooo much laughing and whispering going on. And I am NOT a control freak. Everyone can stop telling me that.

Exactly and correct me if I'm wrong but when he went to tell the shepherds doesn't it say (in the Bible) that there was a choir of angels?

Yes, I know! Abigail told us in the car that in the trailer you see the sky light up, so we're sitting here going, "Oh boy, oh boy, here it comes..."

Yeah, very disappointing. There were a few other things that were not scriptural, one was that (and i understand why they did it) the wise guys actually show up until like six months later, when Joseph and Mary were in Egypt. And a few more, but i cant remember. Sorry
