| Well...Jeff Gordon just happens to be my favorite driver, but I love everything about Nascar. I could make a list of why I like Nascar, but it would fill several pages. Here's an overview... 1. I love the excitement at the beginning of each race. 2. I love how before most of the races they sing the national anthem, and the pastor's that they get to pray before the race aall seem to be Southern penecostals. 3. I love watching the last dozen laps, when the driver's start taking chances, and it gets really exciting. 4. And my favorite races are the road courses, when they have to actually turn both directions.(Jeff Gordon is really good at those) Actually, I only have a few problems with Nascar. First, they make too much money for what they do, I admit that. Second, some people talk about the driver's jobs like they're really dangerous. I mean, sure, they are going very fast, but the safety features on the cars and the tracks have improved soooo much since Earnhardt Sr.'s death, that there is some obvious overreaction in the risk department. Third, I really don't like Dale Earnhardt Jr. Everybody seems to like him, and I think he's just a whiner riding on his daddy's fame... And I don't just like Jeff Gordon, I also like Kasey Kahne and Jimmy Johnson. (Actually, Jeff Gordon owns Jimmy Johnson's car, and he actually got him started in racing). Answer your question, Josh? | |

| I guess, but why don't you just watch the beginning and the end! Oh and if you think that Nascar series is fun to watch when they get to go on the little road courses within the oval, that your crazy. They are super slow and under steer through the turns. So i think the only thing you like about Nascar is the drivers. And the excitement and all that. But it you want to see some real cars go through some turn and switchbacks and hairpins etc. Than watch Rolex Sports Car Series. Or Touring Car Series And we cant forget the great Le-Mans!! Sorry if this is a big post. | |

| JOSH, I do like the road courses with the left and right turns I find them exciting. AND I also like watching entire races. You wouldn't watch just the beginning and end of a movie, would ya? And if you say yes, you're stupid... Anyways, 4 days til Daytona 500! | |
