| Well, well, so the Lindberg and Beers girls piled into Jessica's car for a good ol' geeky time last night. My expectations were low, low, low, lower than dirt. Lower than the budget they must have had for that fortune teller scene. But it wasn't horrible. Definite cheesy moments, but the baby dragon, awwwwwwww!!! And I liked the clothes. Actually, I liked the guy's clothes; the girls were a bit cheesy. As for the infamous Garret H., whose scarf-clad form we all poked fun at, he was 100% Kind of a boring character, in my opinion. For the whole ten minutes we saw of him. *enter Caitlin rant here* | |

Ugh! Ten minues would have been a kindness! I'm thinking more along the lines of FIVE! His character would have been absolutely perfect, if they had only let him develope a little. Hated the music, I think the conductor was trying WAY too hard. And there were MANY cheesy moments that I had to ignore, but I did love the costumes! Ech, except for the fortune teller, aka, the director's spoiled daughter.

The movie sound stupid. Our Nsync (3 1/2 minute) one sound sound better.

Eragon is more of a nerdy movie.

| A nerdy movie would be smarter. A geeky movie has more dragons and unicorns and stuff.
I wouldn't call it a burlap sack stuffed with rocks, but I would expect you guys to hate it.
And as for funny, there is this one shot that I found humorous... ("I hardly recognize myself."

| The main problem with Eragon? (spoiler warning, if you care)
Tell me if this storyline sounds familiar.
There's an evil villain who, years ago, tricks another hero-turned-villain to kill all the other heroes. Then the villain establishes an evil empire. But! There's a small rebellion.
A beautiful woman, carrying the last hope for the rebellion, is intercepted, and sends what she's carrying far away, where it is picked up by a farm boy. The farm boy, who befriends an old mentor-figure, leaves home after his uncle is killed.
The kid and the mentor embark on a quest to find the rebels, along the way picking up a darker, more savvy character. The farm boy starts to learn to use his powers along the way.
Then the farm boy decides to go save the woman from the beginning of the movie, endangering the mission. He finds her in a cell, and then the mentor dies in the process.
The remaining characters make it to the *snerk* Rebel Base, and the villain sends his right-hand man, with supernatural powers, after them. The farm boy must utilize his training and hit an exact mark to finish off the villain.
This movie will be followed by two sequals.

Oh great, two more. | |

| Hey, I just went and saw it again. NOW, I have to redo my comments on it. The second time around was WAY better, so much so, that I want to see it AGAIN to see if it upgrades even more. I actually liked the music this time...in fact, I liked a LOT of things better this time.
Maybe because I wasn't sitting between Jessica and Hannah listening to completely opposite opinions throughout the entire movie. And the theater was practically empty.

| If it's actually a good movie you should only have to watch it once to realize that. | |

| If you're a true fan, you should want to support it as much as possible.
Also there's the issue where I'm going to have put up with the LONG dvd release wait. I might as well overload on it while I can.

I thought you said that you didn't like it the first time...And if that's true than why were you enough of a fan to go a second time.

| That right there is a good example of an unfair opinion. Okay, go ahead and rave against Eragon, but I gotta go do all my stuff, and you gotta go to bed so you're not crabby tomorrow. g'night. | |
